Rinck Advertising Begins its 25th Year with Strategic Public Health and Behavior Change Hire

Lewiston, Maine – As Rinck Advertising marks its 25th anniversary in 2026, the nationally recognized, award-winning agency is continuing to invest in its public health and behavior change work with the addition of Liz Romano as Account Director. Romano joins the agency at a moment when trusted, evidence-informed, audience-centered communications are more critical than ever.

For more than a decade, Rinck has led public health and behavior change marketing by listening first, grounding strategy in data, and designing communications around real behaviors, motivations, and barriers. Partnering with government agencies, healthcare organizations, and non-profits, the agency addresses complex challenges such as tobacco prevention, substance use, mental health, health equity, and access to care. The agency delivers public health and behavior change work across strategy, creative, media, public relations, and experiential and influencer marketing to drive measurable improvements in health outcomes.

In her role, Romano serves as a strategic lead between clients and internal teams, guiding each initiative with clarity, empathy, and purpose. She brings significant experience in account leadership, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration, strengthening Rinck’s ability to deliver thoughtful, high-impact public health and behavior change work. She has worked with a range of State Departments of Health and like-minded strategic partners across the US on campaigns for tobacco control, cannabis use education & prevention, vaccine hesitancy, nutrition, and opioid use education & harm reduction.

“I’m excited to support teams doing work that truly matters,” said Romano. “Public health and behavior change communications require care, trust, empathy, and collaboration. Rinck has built a reputation for leading in this space, and I’m thrilled to be part of that mission.”

“Liz brings a thoughtful, strategic approach to leadership in public health,” said Nikki Jarvais, Senior Vice President and Group Account Director at Rinck Advertising. “Behavior change marketing requires deep listening, operational rigor, and a strong sense of responsibility to the communities we serve. Liz understands how to lead complex work with both intention and accountability, and her addition strengthens our ability to deliver audience-centric, data-driven solutions at scale.”

Based in Hanover, New Hampshire, and working remotely, Romano brings a people-first leadership style that aligns closely with Rinck’s values. She is known for keeping teams aligned, navigating complexity with intention, and ensuring work moves forward without losing sight of the audiences these campaigns are designed to serve.

Romano holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Vermont, with a focus in German and Business Administration. Outside of work, she enjoys cheering on her sons at sporting events and approaching challenges with a practical, get-it-done mindset that reflects her collaborative and solutions-oriented approach.
