Rinck Advertising Wins a Gold Bell Ringer Award

October 4, 2021

LEWISTON, Maine – Rinck Advertising won a Gold Bell Ringer Award from the PR Club of New England for the agency’s Mega Influencer campaign with TikTok star, Lexy Burke, on behalf of the agency’s client, Dove Nourishing Body Care. The PR Club’s annual Bell Ringer Awards symbolize outstanding achievement for the region’s public relations and marketing industry.

The goal of Rinck’s “Dove Everyday Hero” influencer campaign was to celebrate the everyday heroes who were helping their communities through the early days of the pandemic. From healthcare workers, to teachers, to food service employees, and others, Dove Nourishing Body Care Cream set out to recognize and reward these heroes nationwide. To do this, Rinck secured a partnership with Burke, a mega-influencer with more than 1.1 million followers on TikTok, who had grown her audience through providing oversized tips to servers in her local Nashville area, crowdsourced via small donations from her followers. Rinck identified deserving Everyday Heroes for Burke to shower with gratitude and $1,000 from Dove throughout Nashville and across the entire U.S.

“As the COVID-19 pandemic impacted individuals and communities on just about every level (physically, mentally, financially, spiritually…), Dove Nourishing Body Care sought to recognize and reward people who continued to reflect care, kindness, joy, and love for others through their jobs, advocacy, or community volunteering. Lexy Burke was the perfect partner to work with for our client and make this a national movement,” said Katie Greenlaw, vice president of public relations and influencer marketing. “This extremely fulfilling campaign showed the power behind social media influencers, and their ability to help spread appreciation and positivity. In addition to surpassing all of our campaign goals, we were delighted to see that Lexy’s TikTok followers were inspired to keep the Every Day Hero movement going, helping purchase Christmas food boxes and gifts for low-income families in an Every Day Hero’s neighborhood.”
