Rinck Advertising Earns Widespread Recognition

June 8, 2023

LEWISTON, Maine – Rinck Advertising has recently received widespread recognition for its work across several industries, as well as internal practices. The agency was honored by the Maine Ad & Design Broderson Awards, Hermes Creative Awards, Maine Public Relations Council (MPRC) Golden Arrows, and the Maine Public Health Association.

The Maine Ad + Design Broderson Awards were created more than 40 years ago in memory of Dick Broderson. The awards recognize Maine agencies and professionals for exhibiting this dedication in their creative endeavors. The “Dunkin Blueberry Launch” campaign and the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife (MDIFW) “Keeper of the Maine Outdoors” won Bronze and Silver, respectively, in the Broderson Large Integrated Campaign category.

The “Dunkin’ Blueberry Launch” included sampling events, influencer partnerships, social media advertising, strategic partnerships, radio endorsements, and perhaps the most “summer in New England” tactic of all — a Dunkin’ branded pontoon boat that went out on Maine’s lakes surprising and delighting Dunkin’ fans with gift cards and Dunkin’ branded merchandise.

The multi-award winning MDIFW integrated campaign focused on educating audiences about wildlife management and the use of private and public lands for recreation. In addition to the Broderson award, the fourth awards program to recognize this work, Rinck won a Hermes Gold award for this campaign. The Hermes Creative Awards are an international competition for creative professionals involved in the concept, writing, and design of traditional and emerging media. Rinck was also recognized for this work in the MPRC Golden Arrow Awards. The Golden Arrows recognize the best work of communications, public relations, and marketing professionals, and student practitioners based in Maine. The campaign previously won Best in Show in the Davey Awards this past winter.

The agency won a second Gold award in the MPRC Golden Arrows for Innovative Use of Social Media in its “Sipping Point” Campaign for the Maine CDC. The campaign speaks directly to Mainers, helping them recognize how much alcohol is too much, providing resources, and reminding them of the negative impacts of alcohol misuse.

Finally, the Maine Public Health Association recognized Rinck with the Public Health Business Champion Award for its leadership and commitment to integrating and promoting public health values into business practices. The agency has a longstanding history of working closely with the Maine CDC. It has created and implemented numerous public health campaigns, including Maine QuitLink Tobacco Counter Marketing to promote smoking and vaping cessation throughout Maine. Within the agency, the agency embraces a people-first approach that values work-life balance and meeting the needs of Rinck’s most important asset – its people. That philosophy is at the core of employee programs, benefits, and overall approach to Rinck’s culture.

“We are honored to be recognized by such a wide range of respected institutions, both here in Maine and around the world,” said Laura Rinck, President of Rinck Advertising. “Helping our clients achieve big goals in their meaningful work is very satisfying, and accolades from our peers inspire us to strive for excellence and be at the forefront of what’s next.”
