LEWISTON, Maine – Rinck Advertising recently promoted four employees across multiple departments. Jake MacGillivary was promoted to Associate Creative Director, Vicky Ayer was promoted to Senior Media Manager, Cathy Brezinski was promoted to Senior Traffic Manager and Nate Perkins was promoted to Senior Systems and Technology Manager.

Jake MacGillivary was promoted from Rinck’s Senior Art Director and Creative Services Manager to Associate Creative Director. He has led the creative in the creation of numerous award-winning projects including a disruptive awareness campaign for suicide prevention for the Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention and, most recently, a COVID-19 response campaign for MaineGeneral Health and a University of Southern Maine campaign to inspire prospective students to enroll. He continues to oversee and conceptualize the creation of art, photo, video, and layout design for the Creators department, as well as lead the design and production of visual and audio materials and media. He joined the agency in 2011 as a Web Production Assistant.

Vicky Ayer joined Rinck in 2013. As the agency’s Senior Media Manager, Ayer has a deep level of experience with New England vendors, and a talent for discovering unique placements for targeted ads to effectively reach specific audiences for maximum added value in the traditional media landscape. Having sold millions of ad placements throughout her career, her primary clients are currently the Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention, Northern New England Passenger Rail Authority, Vermont Department of Health, Inland Fisheries & Wildlife, Maine Housing Authority, University of Southern Maine, Schooner Estates, and Lamey Wellehan.

Cathy Brezinski was promoted from Traffic Coordinator to Senior Traffic Manager and has been with the agency since 2015. In her role, she is responsible for scheduling and ensuring on-time delivery of all work that goes through the agency’s Digital and Creators departments, a team of nearly a dozen full-time and freelance professionals. Brezinski is an incredible asset and assists the team in sourcing everything from voice talent to stock images and music. She often goes beyond her traditional role and reviews copy and writes her own on occasion.

Nate Perkins joined Rinck in 2015. His previous title was Senior Systems Administrator before being promoted to Senior Systems and Technology Manager. With the need to rapidly pivot to remote work, Perkins found solutions for both Rinck and agency clients during the pandemic and offered remote IT help via screen-sharing on video calls and even made house calls when necessary. Perkins is invaluable to the agency, and his breadth of knowledge on multiple operating systems and all agency computer programs ensures Rinck runs smoothly.
