Take a chance.

We dismiss our own ideas way too often. Guess what, we’re smart, and the idea came from that brain of ours. Even though it may feel like a bad idea at the start, take a chance on it, throw it out there. Explore it a bit more, find the root of the idea, find something positive about it, creativity will take over and a concept will evolve. I so often CRINGE at the idea of how many brilliant gems are on the cutting room floor, that no one even gave a chance.
